There was an amazing turnout. My hats off to all of the organizers of the event. When we arrived the place was already packed, standing room only in the main hall. They had to open up all of the halls downstairs to accomidate everyone. Such a great show of support for such an amazing person.
One of the other injured firefighters was there and seemed to be doing well. Most of the night I just stood there in disbelief of all the people in that hall.
