My new ride

Well I've been talking and thinking about getting into triathlons. In the summer I did alot of riding on my mountain bike. Now I've got myself a new ride. It is used, I think it was a good deal.It seems fit well considering this advice. Take a look...

It is an 18 speed Marinoni Corsa. I know it has "Campy" Rims and the tire size 650X23. The gear system is Shimano 600 the cranks are 42 and 53. Other than that I can't really say I've been trying to get the lingo down but I am failing.
All I do know is that is goes really fast. It is comfortable...but I do need a new seat and post the one in it is from an older model Schwinn and doesn't fit and if you notice it is angled down. I think the back tread needs replaced also.
I'd appreciate any advice on what type of tires I should buy..where to get a new/used seat and post!

Well now I'm jealous! Haven't spoken in some time. I've been thinking the same thing as you. Let me know when you pick a race, would like to see it in action.

I agree, nice bike! Found your blog on Runner's Lounge. Congratulations on your marathon; I enjoy reading race reports. Good luck with the weight loss challenge. I'm signing up today because I figure the more the public knows, the more I have to stick to it.

That is my old bike from back in the day :-) Feel free to email me for any advice. That is very funny that I came across your blog and noticed my old trusty steed.
