Back at it

I've got a fever and the only prescription is work harder!

Had a fun day today. Woke up suprised that I wasn't sore even a little bit from yesterday. I was worried cause my hammy was feeling tight. I stretched quite a bit yesterday.
Managed to fit a full day of fun and activities in. First my Sister in law came over this morning for some play time with Carter,Joey and Jacob.
Then it was off to visit Mom at work and drop off Garmin so she could keep track of her 6 mile brisk walk.
Then off to see the RedBull races on the Detroit River...good times.

Then it was off to Nana and Grampa's for Pizza. Jake jumped into the 68 degree pool. Had to be the first kid in!
Finally I was able to get a good run in. Nice and relaxed at first then I sped it up for a while. Ended up running for an hour. I had my old shoes on...they felt great. BTW I did 3 miles at 8:14 pace in that hour. Tmorrow, long slow A.M. bike ride. Just to get the blood flowing.

Thanks for dropping off the Garmin. I like Becca's running commentary on our pace. It makes me feel like I'll actually be able to finish our half. Nine miles next weekend.
