Holy Cow

I'm back again. Here we go with another attempt at creating a daily blog tracking my training or lack there of.

To start off, I got a new toy, that is new to me. I bought a Garmin 405, just a Garmin 405, no toys, no ant stick, no not even a charger...I had to go to gpscity.ca to get that. It is a pukey green color but the price was good enough that I don't really care.

I just got it today,took it for my first run. I really enjoyed it. I have heard bad reviews about the sensitivity and that it was hard to use. I thought it took a bit to get used to but once you figure it out it is awesome. I think I will use this watch until I save enough to get a new one from my local sports shop, so I can have all the bells and whistles.

Well, lets get down to business here. First run with new garmin broken down.

lap 1 8:12.20 for 1mi= 8:12/mi

lap 2 8:18:98 for 1mi = 8:18/mi

lap 3 7:53.18 for 1mi = 7:53/mi

lap 4 6:10.89 for .80mi = 7:42/mi
