I guess you can call it a race. I think I am considering it kind of a tune up/check run. I want to see where I am physically/mentally. I feel my biking and swimming have brought me to a new level of fitness. The running seems much easier so far this year I don't know it is a culmination of the last few years of running or changing it up and multi disciplining has had a major impact.
So I am going into this race with a goal of just setting a steady sustainable pace and finishing with lotsa gas in the tank. Then the weeks to follow will ramp up my biking/swimming and running efforts to prepare for the big race in August!
